And this guy, he would, you know, he would make these videos, before very many people knew who he was, of him dancing, and he started doing these weekly ones where he’d say, ‘Let’s all learn this short pattern of moves together’. And then more and more people started finding out about it, and dancing more, and listening to his music, and as he honed his sound and his stuff started sounding really nice, he began to travel to all these different cities around the world as a DJ. And right before his DJ gigs would start, he would do these 15-minute dance workshops with people, and they’d all put routines together from those dance videos of his and then start the party. And that gave people SUCH a great way to connect the entire arc, to see the whole story come to life, to tap into that FEELING…it was like an entirely new way to enjoy a club night…it was all about the dancing. It was so much fun. I will never forget those Dance Is A Feeling nights.

INFO

Here comes a tune that’s right up our alley. Heard recently on the Miami 2012 comp, this Classic Disco-styled debut release is brought to you by French producers known as Mind Street. They create an orchestral club movement with a slew of talented writers and musicians, all contributing to this major effort, and with eight full-on sweet & soulful House remixes by well-known producers, and it doesn’t disappoint. Remixes by multi-talented Danny Dance with his cool rolling deep disco mix, Italy’s Doll Combers who smack of great percussion and classic chords, UK’s Groove Assassins who go deep and delicious. Souldynamic give wicked jazzy styles and are smoother than the sweetest butter, and Mind Street themselves who deliver 2 beautiful mixes, their Original Funky and a more upbeat Mind Street Friendly Remix. With a strong male vocal by previously unknown Jalley Residence, who delivers a charismatic vox reminiscent of 70’s Motown, this is a pure Soulful House gem.

We introduce to you Danny Dance. A passionate young producer with a story to tell and an insatiable love of dancing,Danny Dance is about to burst onto the scene with a message of love, hope, and House Music. A native of Miami, Danny was exposed to the wide variety of music that comes with growing up in a city so diverse. However, it wasn’t until he moved to Salt Lake City for three years that he discovered the thriving underground world of House Music. After developing his DJ and production skills there, Danny returned to Miami, where he hopes to write a fresh new page in the ongoing story of House Music. His debut 4-track EP, Here For The Dancefloor. It brings a fresh interpretation of House Music while retaining its old soul. “Dancer’s Theme” is already receiving praise by many and has been sought after since the demo hit Youtube last year. “Miami Nights” and “With You” give you that uplifting feeling on the dancefloor, while “Can I Be Your Disco Lover” fills your soul with truly nice vocal stabs. This debut EP is definitely Here For The Dancefloor!
